She is invading the big screen! In January 2010 it was announced that Blake Lively would be cast as Carol Ferris in the up-coming 2011 superhero film Green Lantern. The Green Lantern film is currently in pre-production.

Ryan Reynolds stars as Green Lantern, with Blake Lively as the hero's love interest, Carol Ferris. The movie is heading to a March start in New Orleans. Martin Campbell is directing the Warner Bros. project.

Blake Lively will play Carol Ferris, the female lead and sxy love interest to Reynolds' pilot superhero, Hal Jordan. By comic-book ladylove standards, Ferris is pretty kickass, with plane-flying skills of her own as well as an administration gig on the side.

"I do panic before I have to wear a really skimpy outfit, but I don't have enough willpower," Blake Lively tells the August issue of UK Glamour Magazine. "I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years [...] On the day of the shoot, I ate a pork burrito, chips and coke. Afterwards, I thought, 'I probably shouldn't have done that.' But whatever."

Blake Lively is tall and has an amazing body, although (Blake Lively) her face isn't that beautiful, rather average i' d say. but i really like her character and being on the show, she's charming and the whole package makes her attractive, although of course leighton has a much more genuine face, a face you'll never confound with anyone else.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Rebecca Miller (Personal Velocity, The Ballad of Jack and Rose). A story of later-in-life crisis, Pippa Lee includes lesbian characters who are part of a cast full of beautiful women. So far so good.
